We read two handouts, one on Learning Disabilities such as reading-dyslexia, writing-dysgraphia, and math-dyscalculia. The other one was about emotional and behavior disorders. We got in groups and discussed what we read then wrote down what we discussed then got together with another group to further discuss.
If you come to SED 341 tomorrow I can show you the two articles as well as the power points that she printed off for us. With the two articles we did a worksheet that was called something "seed" but you read the two articles and then you had to write something that you did not understand, something that surprised you or intrested you, vocabualry that you don't know and want to know, an something that you can relate to what you already know. It was a sheet divided up into 4 squares. She also read the book "thank you Mr. Falker" to us in class, its a childrens book. As she read the book we highlighted our power point notes that related to the book or connected to the story in some way.
