Hello all!!
I hope that your evening is going swell. Mine has been pretty great.
I just wanted to say that mondays class was the most fun that I have had in a long time in a college course. I am still having troubles commenting on peoples post, and I dont understand why I can't do it. It makes posting 4 times a month a little bit harder. But oh well. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

So I've discovered stumbleupon.com if you haven't use it don't because it's addicting!! : ) Well anyway it's really cool website were you can easily surf the web and find things that interest you, cool huh. Bluegrass Technology Center

Thank you for taking us to the Bluegrass Technology Center. I really enjoyed our little field trip. I was difficult finding the place and I wasted a lot of gas circling the place but it was well worth it! I thought it was really cool to get to interact with some of the equipment rather than just look at it on a projector or read about it in the book. The most challenging tool was the station with the computer and you had to type using only your fist. Again thanks for taking us, it was a great experience and I met some fabulous people.

Adoption

My family just received confirmation today that we were matched with a 9 year old little boy form the Philippines who will be our new son!! We have been waiting on this email/letter for months!! We will be traveling in late December/early January to bring him home. We wired money over for him to receive hearing aids. We know he has sever hearing loss in his right, we are not sure about the left. Thank you God for adding to our family!

Today was especially hard for me. When I woke my 9 yr old daughter up for school this morninng I found a note that she wrote to her late mother. I asked her if it was okay for me to read it, she said yes and then burst into tears, I also burst into tears, we talked for a few minutes and then she was fine, but it hurts me so bad to know what she is going through and know that there is nothing I can do to make it better.
Please pray for us, for my daughter that she might have peace.

Help!

Hey guys!
So I need your help for the Language Project. I am not from anywhere around here and I do not know any children that I can use for the project and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas. I know Mrs. White told me someone in the class had children...I think. :)

I really enjoyed class today! I loved the topic we were talking about and really was interested in the subject. I also really liked the way we did class differently. I absolutely loved Ms. White reading to us at the end. Also today means two more months and I will be a the big 20! Life is good.

Midterm Grades

Does BB show our grades as a weighted total? When I add up my points and divide them by the total, I'm getting a different number than what BB is showing.

On the schedule it says we have our field trip to the Bluegrass Technology Center tomorrow. Are we meeting there or are we meeting in the classroom first?

Fall Break

I hope everyone had a nice Fall break! Unfortunately, at our house the stomach bug showed up. My kids are in preschool, and apparently it is going around. Hoping no one else gets it!

So I went to go observe a kindergarten art class today.... I was observing this small little group of girls and one says "Oh my gosh I am just sooooo excited we are in an all girls group!" (in a little diva voice) and then says " boys are just sooooo annoying!"--- Kindergarten and she's already a genius! lol I just love children and their comments!

Nerdilicious.

The TA in one of my classes yesterday was trying to tell us how children acquire speech. She said that it all depends on how much they hear and that they just learn how to repeat it after awhile. I really wanted to tell her that that's just one of the theories. I felt like suchhh a nerd, haha. It is nice to actually learn things that pop up in real life, though. :)
