did you all read the email about the smoke in the wallace building today? I was just wondering if any of you knew if they are going to be having classes today in there or if they have started having them again? I am a commuter and it'd be nice to know before I head over there! Thanks!

ReplyDeletethere was smoke spotted in wallace so they shut down the building until richmond fire dept. cleared everything. but i never heard where the smoke was coming from.
ReplyDeleteI was in Wallace when it happened and I am still unclear as to what happened. I heard several different stories, one was that there was smoke in the elevator shaft, another was smoke coming from the fourth floor, and another said smoke was coming out of the mens bathroom on the second floor. Whatever happened kept us out of Wallace for a little over an hour!
ReplyDeleteI could believe the elevator. The elevators on campus need to be renovated. I pray every time I'm on them. I did not hear anything about this though.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I got on the elevator and the doors wouldn't close and it started shaking. Maybe that was it?? I'm using the stairs from now on.
