Me In A Paragraph :)

Hi All-

My name is Julie; I am working on a dual major for Elementary Education and Special Education. I am a sophomore and my encouragement to myself is I only have five more semesters. My dream job is to give back to the same community that gave me so much by teaching at the school I all but grew up in: Hattie C. Warner Elementary. I have a wonderful fiancĂ© back home (Nicholasville, KY), we’ve been together over a year now and we’re expecting our first baby on Valentine’s Day. We’re looking forward to this bundle of joy but I think I’m looking forward to it more so that I can be around kiddos 24/7! :) I’ve always loved kids and was very excited that for a late fifth birthday present I got a baby brother. I spent more time playing with my brother than is probably natural! Since I’ve been in college I’ve figured out how to deal with home sickness (lots of phone calls, Facebook(!), Skype, etc.), I’ve learned that I have a lot better grasp of who I am as a person, and I am more and more devoted to getting organized, not procrastinating, and getting my life going. When things don’t work the way I’d like them to, I thank God for having a better plan than I did; When things do work the way I’d like them to, I thank God for letting me in on His plan. :)

  1. Going to school while having a child will be difficult. But don't get discouraged, just think...if you continue in school you'll be finished by your child's 2nd birthday. And trust me when you are 30 and your kid or in my case kids are older it will be even harder. You can do it! Just focus on the goal!
