Welcome to SED260

The class blog will become what YOU make it!!  It's been fun and interesting in past semesters to see the different class personalities come through on the blog.  This is where we will foster COMMUNICATION and a sense of community.  I look forward to getting to know you better in class and through this online venue. This is where you can post questions about class discussions, assignments, the text and course content in general.  It's also the place where you can post videos, websites, songs, poems, any item of interest to you that connects to course material or that you wish to share with your classmates.

A great way to get started is to share an introduction of yourself.  Be creative - introduce yourself in a UNIQUE way.  Use text and write/post an intro or think of another way to introduce us to yourself.  You might share with us one "little known fact" about yourself. Or you can share anything interesting you'd like.

Look forward to seeing what you will share!

  1. Hey! I'm Samantha, a sophomore, and a Elementary Ed/LBD major. If I were the least bit creative, I would have used something a little less generic to open with, but that's just not me. I'm actually pretty excited about this class. I'm sure it's going to be just as awesome as my older SED peeps have said it is. See you all tonight :)

  3. Hi, I'm Jessica. I am an elem. LBD major with a minor in sign language. I was originally a nursing major for my first two years, but soon found out that was not the major for me.

Interesting facts about me are I just got news that I am going to be an Aunt. I love quotes. I volunteer every Friday at the YMCA to teach children with disabilities how to swim and play sports. I am pretty excited for this class, it's my only class for the day. :)

  10. Hello everyone!
My name is Courtney Young. I am from a small farming community in Sidney, Ohio. Growing up, I always wanted to be in Sports Medicine, but realized that there was really no room in the work force for me. My mom had talked me into going into Special Education. I then found my passion to be a Speech-Language Pathologist. I like to be challenged, and pushed to become better. I want to be the best of the best to make the difference in all children's' lives.
